The Campbell Environmental Law Association (CELA) seeks to create and sustain a leadership role in advancing environmental policy and law by drawing attention to all aspects of environmental law and related fields. To that end, the organization includes education, service, and recreation components. To educate its members, the organization sponsors lectures and debates by practitioners and policymakers designed to better inform Campbell Law and the Raleigh community about relevant environmental issues. The organization chooses speakers with an emphasis on the interdisciplinary, multifaceted character of environmental law and its relevance to a wide range of legal and policy issues. Additionally, every year, CELA undertakes environmentally focused service projects such as “Adopt-a-Stream” as an integral part of its purpose.

Membership is open to all Campbell Law students, and members of the public are welcome to attend all CELA sponsored events.
