Since its' founding in 1976, Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law has depended on the generosity of its alumni and friends. Their support has enabled the Law School to fulfill its mission to educate highly skilled, ethical lawyers with a commitment to serving others, and to make a high quality legal education available to talented men and women regardless of their background or circumstances.
Tuition and fees cover just a portion of the true cost of a Campbell Law School education. To fund the rest, we depend upon gifts from alumni and friends, foundation grants and the growth of a modest endowment. Campbell Law School's alumni and friends are by far our most important source of support.
Through the generosity of others, Campbell Law School has grown into one of North Carolina's most highly regarded legal education programs. Since 1979, we have produced more than 3,000 graduates who practice in 40 states and six foreign countries, including over 2,000 who continue to live and work in North Carolina.
For the past 20 years, Campbell Law School has had a record of success on the N.C. Bar Exam that is unsurpassed by any other North Carolina law school. In 2007 and 2008, Campbell Law students won back-to-back National Moot Court Championships, including Best Brief Awards.
At Campbell Law School, hard work breeds success. But, success does come with a cost. More than 90 percent of our students depend on scholarships, loans and campus employment. The average financial aid package of a Campbell Law student in 2007-08 included:
- $2,640 in scholarship assistance
- $28,000 in student loans
As we prepare for Campbell Law School to blaze new trails in relocating to Raleigh and face the challenges of educating future generations of lawyers, we will continue to depend on the generosity and commitment of our alumni and friends.
Thank you for your support.
