The CCH Business & Finance Library Network is a fully searchable database of primary and secondary legal sources, including the online equivalent of government contracts and other business-related CCH products. The network provides extensive full-text legal information on securities, banking, capital changing, franchising, trade regulation, government contracts, public utilities, information technology, federal energy guidelines, transportation, and products liability. The CCH Health & Human Resources Network is a comprehensive electronic library that includes all of CCH's medical, health, and human resources products. The Human Resources Library includes a wealth of material on employment law, social security, OSHA, and workers' compensation. The Health and Medical Library includes extensive resources on Medicare and Medicaid, healthcare compliance, HIPAA, and food, drug, and cosmetic law. (A CLS email address account is required). The Current Index to Legal Periodicals (CILP) offers tables of contents and subject indexing for newly published law periodicals, tracking over 500 major law reviews and journals. CILP is issued weekly on Friday and is available 4-6 weeks earlier than other commercial legal periodical indexes. CILP is available on Westlaw and in pdf format on the Library webpage. Faculty members can create Smart-CILP profiles. (Not available through remote access)
The Legal Treatises module of the Eighteenth Century Collection Online (ECCO) comprehensively covers a critical era in the development of Anglo-American law and legal practice. ECCO (Law Module) consists of approximately 9,300 titles. The titles reflect the many genres occupied by legal writing during the 18th Century, and features many editions of works that changed the practice of law. EISIL is a database created by the American Society of International Law. It provides access to primary documents, web sites, and research guides on many international topics. EISIL provides value added information such as legal citations, summaries of documents, and more.
E-Journal Titles A-Z is a list of electronic journal titles available at Campbell University. This A-Z list includes law titles.

HeinOnline is a digital collection of legal and law-related materials organized into a number of modules called Libraries. HeinOnline Libraries may be browsed and searched. HeinOnline provides access to a work's complete contents. Documents are represented in both high quality image and OCR text formats. Documents may be printed using HeinOnline Hprint utility or downloaded and printed as a pdf file. HeinOnline adds citation information to the footer of each page. The HeinOnline American Law Institute Library provides full-text access to ALI project drafts that are now out-of-print, were never published at all or were published but not widely released, including Preliminary, Council, Tentative, and Proposed Final Drafts of ALI Restatements of the Law and Codifications.
The HeinOnline Code of Federal Regulations provides full-text access to the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) from its inception in 1938 to the present. Special navigation tools include the Quick Locator which allows you to locate a CFR title and Part by year; Title Search which allows you to search CFR Title and Part descriptions by year range; and Advanced Search allows you to conduct keyword searches. Also included is a link to the GPO Access CFR (1996 to current) and other useful materials.
The HeinOnline English Reports provides full-text access to the original bound reprint edition of the English Reports together with the indexes and Book of Charts. The English Reports is a 178 volume set containing more than 100,000 early English cases published between 1220 and 1865.
The European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI) conducts practice-oriented research, provides information and documentation, and offers advisory services concerning minority-majority relations in Europe. The HeinOnline ECM Library provides online, full-text access to ECMI Reports, ECMI Working papers, the Journal on Ethnopolitics and Minority Issues in Europe, the Ombudsman Institutions and Minority Issues: A Guide to Good Practice, and other useful materials.

The HeinOnline Foreign & International Law Resources Database provides full-text access to publications from the American Society of International Law and prominent yearbooks from around the world. It also contains U.S. international law practice digests, publications from international courts and tribunals, and other materials related to inter-national and foreign law.
HeinOnline Foreign Relations of the United States (FURS) provides full-text access to the documentary record of U.S. foreign policy decisions and diplomatic activities. The series began in 1861 during Abraham Lincoln's administration and contains documents from various Presidential libraries, the Departments of State and Defense, the National Security Council, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Agency for International Development, and other foreign affairs agencies as well as the private papers of individuals involved in formulating U.S. foreign policy.

The Index to Legal Periodicals & Books (ILP) provides citations to articles in over 1,000 legal periodicals such as law reviews, bar association journals, yearbooks, institutes, and government publications from August 1981 to the present. In 1994, ILP began indexing legal books and now includes approximately 2,000 per year. The Index to Legal Periodicals Retrospective (ILPR) indexes over 750 legal periodicals and covers the period 1908-1981. (Off-campus access is controlled by CLS email username and password)
JSTOR, a not-for-profit organization, is dedicated to the development of a digital library in support of the arts and sciences. JSTOR comprises the full-text of more than 200 academic journals covering a very wide range of disciplines. Coverage of a journal begins with its first volume. However, current volumes are embargoed for a period of 1 to 7 years and are unavailable on JSTOR. (Off-campus access is controlled by CLS email username and password)
LawMemo.com is an employment law current awareness service which includes a searchable case law database providing both summaries and the full text of decisions of state and federal courts from 1998 to the present. Case law updates are available through the weekly Employment Law Memo email update service. (Registration Required). Legal Scholarship Network (LSN), a division of Social Sciences Research Network (SSRN), hosts and distributes scholarly information and papers related to law, economics, and business to scholars and practitioners.
LegalTrac provides citations to articles in over 1,400 legal periodicals published since 1980. LegalTrac covers law reviews, bar association journals, legal newspapers, and international legal journals. It also covers law-related articles from about 1,000 additional business and general interest titles.
LexisNexis provides online access to U.S. federal and state law sources as well as sources of international law and the laws of a growing number of other jurisdictions. LoisLawschool.com is an educational program for law students that allows students and their professors free access to LoisLaw’s primary law library as well as to other select online databases. With LoisLawschool.com, there are no restrictions and no blackout periods, including the summer. To access Loislaw, you must first create an account by clicking the Register Here link and completing the account registration form. You will need an authorization code to set up your account. The Making of Modern Law: Legal Treatises 1800-1926 is a digital collection of 19th and early 20th century legal treatises compiled largely from Harvard Law Library Special Collections. The Making of Modern Law is a full-text, searchable collection of 21,000 British and American legal treatises.
The Making of Modern Law: Trials, 1600-1926, is a digital collection that contains more than 10,000 titles including pamphlets, official and unofficial trial documents and materials, legal transcripts, administrative proceedings, and arbitrations. The Historic Trials collection covers trials from all countries and languages, although the great majority is in the English-language and published in the United States or Great Britain.
The Making of Modern Law: U.S. Supreme Court Records and Briefs 1832-1978 is a digital collection of more than 350,000 separate documents from over 150,000 U.S. Supreme Court cases. North Carolina CaseMaker is an Internet-based legal research service offered free to law students. N.C. CaseMaker gives full-text access to North Carolina-specific materials not readily accessible in any other source, for example, North Carolina Civil, Criminal, and Motor Vehicle Pattern Jury Instructions. Students must join the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) as student members. The NCBA will then issue each student a username and password. N.C. CaseMaker is available at NCBA. Access requires a membership number and password. To join the North Carolina Bar Association and receive your password for CaseMaker, go to NCBA. At the top of the screen you will see a membership option with a pull down menu. On the menu, choose the option for joining/renewing membership. At the next screen, scroll down until you see Law School Division (free). Click on this option and follow the instructions
North Carolina Lawyer’s Weekly is a legal information source for practicing attorneys in North Carolina. N.C. Lawyer’s Weekly covers legal news, appellate decisions, verdict and settlement reports, and passed and pending legislation.
The Oxford English Dictionary is the ultimate authority on the English language as well as a history of English speech and thought from its infancy to the present day. The OED Online is the most comprehensive and up-to-date reference work of its kind.
Oxford International Encyclopedia of Legal History
The Oxford International Encyclopedia of Legal History is the first encyclopedia to provide both historical and contemporary comparisons of the world legal systems.
The Religion Case Law Reporter is the only U.S. publication devoted to reporting and indexing federal and state judicial opinions addressing the free exercise of religion, state establishment of religion, the clergy and religious institutions. The reporter is updated monthly and indexes cases from 1998 to the present.
RIA Checkpoint provides a common web interface to numerous RIA tax and accounting publications. RIA Checkpoint organizes resources under tabs. The Research tab provides access to materials in several practice areas including: Federal, State & Local, Estate Planning, Pension & Benefits, International, and Payroll. SSRN provides access to new scholarship including working papers in accounting, economics, financial economics, law, and management. Search by author and by title and abstract keywords. Most papers are available for download in pdf format. SSRN requires you to register in order to download articles.
The United Nations Treaty Collection contains several databases. One of the most important databases is the Status of Multilateral Treaties deposited with the Secretary-General. This database lists signatories and parties to more than 522 (as of January 1, 2007) multilateral treaties, provides links to their full text and includes declarations and reservations. This database is updated daily.
LexisNexis Congressional is a major source of information about the members of Congress and their legislative activities and a primary resource for assessing the many publications of the U.S. Congress from 1969 to present. (Off-campus access requires a CLS email username and password)
VersusLaw provides online access to U.S. federal and state primary law sources as well as Native American Tribal Court opinions. In order to access VersusLaw, you must register for the VersusLaw Law School Program.
Westlaw provides online access to U.S. federal and state law sources as well as sources of international law and the laws of a growing number of other jurisdictions. The CLS contract with Westlaw allows the library to create accounts for law school faculty including visiting faculty, law school staff, and law school students currently enrolled. Westlaw requires all users to register their accounts. During registration, users have the opportunity to create an optional custom username and password. Accounts not registered within six weeks of the day first used will automatically deactivate.
