North Carolina CaseMaker
North Carolina CaseMaker is an Internet-based legal research service offered free to law students. N.C. CaseMaker gives full-text access to North Carolina-specific materials not readily accessible in any other source, for example, North Carolina Civil, Criminal, and Motor Vehicle Pattern Jury Instructions. Students must join the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) as student members. The NCBA will then issue each student a username and password. N.C. CaseMaker is available at NCBA. Access requires a membership number and password. To join the North Carolina Bar Association and receive your password for CaseMaker, go to NCBA. At the top of the screen you will see a membership option with a pull down menu. On the menu, choose the option for joining/renewing membership. At the next screen, scroll down until you see Law School Division (free). Click on this option and follow the instructions
