Robert Allen Jenkins - Oct. 1, 1927-June 8, 2007
Professor at Campbell Law School from 1977 to 1999
It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we tell you of the death of Robert Allen Jenkins. “Bob” Jenkins was a beloved Professor at Campbell Law School from 1977 to 1999.
Many of you had Bob for Trial and Appellate Advocacy, Wills and Trusts, Estate Administration, Law and Medicine, and Admiralty. No matter which class you experienced him in; you probably have some fond memory of Professor Jenkins that you will keep with you for the rest of your career and beyond.
We all know first hand what a great teacher he was both in and out of the classroom. Bob’s legacy will always remain at Campbell Law School in the nationally recognized Trial Advocacy program that he designed and taught in for so many years. More importantly is the legacy that he created with the fine lawyers he trained and mentored that continues to live on through each of you daily. He taught us all some valuable lesson, of law or of life, that we use today. We were all blessed to have known him, and The Lord blessed Campbell Law School by sending him to nurture it in its founding days.
Please take some time to remember Bob, and keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
