Law School campaign receives grant from The Cannon Foundation

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell University has received a $150,000 grant from The Cannon Foundation for the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law’s Campaign for Raleigh.

“The Cannon Foundation has been such a friend to Campbell University,” said University President, Jerry Wallace. “We are so grateful to receive this new donation that will support the Law School’s capital campaign and relocation to Raleigh.”

The University has purchased a 107,000 square foot building located at 225 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh as the new site for the law school. Plans for renovation are currently in the programming and design phase. The new law school will officially open in August 2009.

“As the Dean of the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, it was my great pleasure to learn of The Cannon Foundation’s support of our campaign,” said Dean Melissa Essary. “This grant is a significant contribution to our future success.”
