John W. Pope Foundation Gifts $1.2 Million for Raleigh Building

RALEIGH, N.C. - Campbell Law School today announced it has received a $1.2 million grant from the John William Pope Foundation in support of its new Raleigh building. The contribution will be applied to Campbell Laws $15 million renovation of its Law School building. The gift also secures naming rights to the Grand Foyer, a formal reception area offering more than 2,000 square feet of space for Law School and Campbell University special events.

2009 Richard A. Lord Moot Court Competition launches new era in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. - During the period of October 1-3, Campbell Law's Old Kivett Advocacy Council hosted the 2009 Richard A. Lord Moot Court Competition. This year's competition was the largest in Campbell Law history, with 112 competitors and 160 judges, made up of attorneys and judges from across the east coast. All competitors were second year law students.

Call for Papers: 2010 Campbell Law Review Symposium

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Campbell Law Review of the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law is calling for submissions of papers and proposals for its upcoming Electronic-Discovery Symposium. The conference will be held at Campbell Laws new Raleigh location on January 22, 2010. The Symposium will address timely, relevant and challenging issues related to e-discovery. Potential topics may include, but are not limited to: ethical considerations pertaining to e-discovery and meta-data, the implications of significant e-discovery case law or legislation, proposals for the reform of current e-discovery rules, pre-litigation management systems, critical aspects of the e-discovery process and the role of e-discovery in international litigation. The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2009.
