Student Pro Bono Council hosts Public Interest Expo

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law Student Pro Bono Council, in conjunction with the Career and Professional Development Center, will host a Public Interest Expo from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29. The event will be held in the Grand Foyer at the Law School’s new Raleigh location.

The event is designed to highlight the career possibilities in the public sector and learn about organizations serving the citizens of North Carolina and beyond. Participants will include North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services and Disability Rights North Carolina, among others.

The Expo is one of several events scheduled at Campbell Law in connection with the American Bar Association’s and North Carolina Bar Association’s National Pro Bono Celebration Week.

Organizations and individuals interested in participating in this year’s event should contact Melissa Atkinson, student coordinator for the Public Interest Expo, at maatkinson0517@email.campbell.edu.
