Campbell Law to Host Fraternity Leadership Conference

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Campbell University Norman A. Wiggins School of Law has announced that it will host Delta Theta Phi, an international professional law fraternity headquartered at the Campbell Law campus in downtown Raleigh, for its 57th biennial convention and leadership conference, which will be held Thursday, July 28 through Saturday, July 30, at the Clarion Hotel State Capital, located at 320 Hillsborough St. As an organization, Delta Theta Phi serves as a networking tool for students and professionals to enhance the education and career experience.

This year, the convention will feature student and alumni delegates participating in a welcome reception, luncheons, workshops, an awards ceremony and the annual casino-themed Chancellor’s Ball, which will include a silent auction benefitting the Delta Theta Phi Leadership Foundation. Workshops for participants are set to focus on professional development in the areas of leadership and business, highlighting presenters and speakers from both the local and global legal communities.

“We are excited to host members of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity in downtown Raleigh,” said Melissa Essary, dean of Campbell Law. “This convention and leadership conference will provide invaluable networking experiences and learning opportunities for students and professionals in the ever-growing worldwide legal community.”
