Campbell Law Hosts Second Annual Fall Fest Featuring Law Student and Country-Music Artist Jamie Tate

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Second Annual Campbell Law Fall Fest was presented by the Campbell Law Fine Arts Society on October 17. Musical entertainment was provided by Campbell Law student and country-music artist Jamie Tate and her band. Students, faculty, and staff also enjoyed a barbecue lunch, raffles, recreational games, and a silent auction.

Tate is a third-year law student pursuing a country music career. Her patriotic hit, “I’ll Give My All,” features the Fort Bragg 82nd Airborne All-American Chorus. A portion of the song proceeds are donated to veteran and soldier causes. In July, she performed at the Heroes, Hearts, and Hardhats Music Festival in Fayetteville, NC, to raise building fund monies for a local family as part of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition television program. Upon graduating from Campbell Law, Tate will relocate to Nashville.

Established in 2009, the Campbell Law Fine Arts Society provides law students an expressive voice to share artistic interests, abilities, opinions, and beliefs, whether in response to law, current events, or simply arising from the students’ own backgrounds. The Society was on founded on the premise that the law and the arts are both expressions of universal humanity, and that there are powerful opportunities for the two expressions to merge into poignant experiences that effect change.

Since its founding in 1976, the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University has developed lawyers who possess moral conviction, social compassion and professional competence, and who view the law as a calling to serve others. Campbell Law boasts more than 3,200 alumni, including 2,200 who reside and work in North Carolina. For 25 years, Campbell Law’s record of success on the North Carolina Bar Exam has been unsurpassed by any other North Carolina law school. In September 2009, Campbell Law relocated to a state-of-the-art building in downtown Raleigh. For more information, visit
