RALEIGH, N.C. - The Campbell Law School Career & Professional Development Center held its second-annual Campbell Law Career Night on Thursday, Nov. 14. Nearly 50 representatives from 30 employers and 16 practice areas attended the event, engaging in dialogue with more than 50 students as they focused on exploring the various traditional practice areas in law.
More than 20 of the representatives that participated in the event hold law degrees from Campbell Law.
“It is critically important for our students to investigate multiple areas of practice and gather insight and advice from practicing professionals currently serving in those areas,” said Campbell Law Career & Professional Development Center Director Julie Beavers. “Career Night provides our students with such an environment to do that, while networking and fostering relationships with local professionals.”
“Campbell Law and our students are extraordinarily fortunate to enjoy such strong relationships with area practitioners, many of whom engage with our faculty, staff, and students on several occasions throughout the year. We are appreciative of the fact that so many members of the local bar enjoy taking the time to counsel our students and help them prepare for their future careers as leaders in the law.”
Practicing professionals on-site for the event represented a broad assortment of legal sectors, including business litigation, corporate, criminal, environmental, family law, government, health law, immigration, intellectual property, labor and employment, prosecution, defense and plaintiff litigation, real estate, and trusts and estates.
