Women in Law cookbook to benefit Dress for Success

RALEIGH, N.C. - Campbell Law’s Women in Law student organization has published its first cookbook, “May It Please the Fork.” The cookbooks, which feature recipes submitted by Campbell Law faculty, staff and students, are available for $12 and make for great gifts and keepsakes. All proceeds will benefit the Triangle N.C. Chapter of Dress for Success.

Founded in April 2008, the Triangle N.C. chapter of Dress for Success promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help women succeed in work and in life. Women in Law aims to provide academic support, professional assistance, social outlets, and service opportunities to the Campbell Law community. The organization annually hosts “Karaoke for Komen”, a breast cancer research fundraiser, as well as a silent auction to support Campbell Law scholarships. Women in Law also hosts numerous bake sale fundraisers throughout the academic year to benefit a variety of local charity and civic organizations.
