Campbell Law School

Alka Srivastava, Class of 2011

Campbell Law School was a good choice for me because it provided me the necessary tools to be ready to practice law.  Because of a curriculum that focuses on teaching analytical and practical skills, I was able to hit the ground running within a few weeks of starting work at the Raleigh office of Cranfill, Sumner & Hartzog LLP.  The small size of Campbell Law allowed me to participate in a host of extra-curricular activities, each of which allowed me to learn skills that I now use in my civil litigation practice.  I had the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant with the legal research and writing program, compete at national-level moot court and client counseling competitions, and serve on the staff of both the Campbell Law Review and Campbell Law Observer.  The small class size at Campbell Law also enabled me to foster strong relationships with my peers as well as the faculty. These relationships continue to be a positive influence on my practice.

Alka is currently an associate with Cranfill, Sumner & Hartzog in Raleigh, NC.
