John Bruffey is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina and graduated from the Campbell Law School in 1984. He is also a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Mr. Bruffey has worked at Drew, Eckl & Farnham since 1984 and has been a partner since 1990.  He presently serves as the Drew, Eckl & Farnham’s Financial Director and is one of five members on its Board of Directors. He is also in his eighth consecutive year serving as one of five members of the firm’s Partner Compensation Committee. He has served as the firm’s Director of Client Relations and Marketing and as the Chairman of the Hiring and Recruiting Committee.   

Mr. Bruffey has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer multiple tmies, representing the top 5 percent of all lawyers in the State of Georgia

Mr. Bruffey is a member of the State Bar of Georgia; Supreme Court of Georgia; Georgia Court of Appeals; U. S. Supreme Court; Northern, Middle and Southern U. S. District Courts in Georgia; 11th Circuit Court of Appeals; Atlanta Bar Association; and Defense Research Institute. He is a frequent speaker for various organizations on Workers Compensation Law throughout the State of Georgia.
