Ben is a double graduate of Campbell University. He earned his B.A., cum laude, in 1976 and his J.D. in 1979.

Ben’s practice at Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton focuses on complex litigation, government contracting law, labor law, and trade regulation. He has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts throughout the U.S. He joined the firm as a partner in 1997 after 18 years of litigation practice in another North Carolina firm where he represented a number of large- and medium-size government contracting, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and technology companies.  Ben is Chairman of Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton’s Litigation Section.

Ben is involved with numerous organizations, including the NC Bar Association, Wake County Bar Association, National Contract Management Association, and NC Advocates for Justice.
