Sara Warf is a 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, where she was publication editor of The North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation. Warf also completed her undergraduate education at UNC, graduating Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. with distinction in English and Psychology; while there, she was a manager for the men’s basketball team. Prior to assuming her current position at Cranfill, Sumner, and Hartzog in the Appellate Division, Professor Warf served as a law clerk at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, first for Judge Robert C. (Bob) Hunter and then for Judge Richard (Rick) Elmore. Before entering law school, Warf worked as a production editor of academic journals for Oxford University Press, and she maintains that expertise as she continues to work as a freelance proofreader of college textbooks for publishing company Bedford/St. Martin’s.
