Awards & Honors

The following Pro Bono Awards are presented annually by the Pro Bono Council at the Campbell Law Day Awards Banquet:

•    Outstanding Student Achievement in Pro Bono and Public Service
•    Outstanding Faculty Achievement in Pro Bono and Public Service
•    Outstanding Student Organization in Pro Bono and Public Service

The faculty nominate a graduating student each year to receive the Pro Bono Publico Award presented at the commencement ceremony.

One student from each law school in North Carolina is nominated each year to receive the North Carolina State Bar Annual Student Pro Bono Service Award.

Students who complete 75 or more hours of pro bono service are recognized by the North Carolina Bar Association with a Certificate of Appreciation.

•    Outstanding Student Achievement in Pro Bono and Public Service

•    Outstanding Faculty Achievement in Pro Bono and Public Service
Assistant Professor Amos Jones

•    Outstanding Student Organization in Pro Bono and Public Service
Trusts, Estate Settlements and Tax Law Group for work in starting the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Project, accepted by President Andrew Fletcher

Pro Bono Publico Award presented to Mariamarta Conrad at the commencement ceremony on May 9th, 2014, at Meymandi Concert Hall.

Anitra Brown was nominated to receive the North Carolina State Bar Annual Student Pro Bono Service Award for Campbell Law School to be presented at the State Bar’s Annual Meeting in October 2014.
