Joshua Walthall


Joshua Walthall is a 2013 graduate of Campbell University School of Law, where he was a Legal Research and Writing Scholar and the Business Editor of the Campbell Law Review.  During law school, Walthall published articles on education law and interned for judges at the North Carolina Court of Appeals and for a federal judge in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Walthall also spent multiple semesters at the District Attorney’s Office in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he tried criminal cases in District Court under the third year practice rule.  Following law school, Walthall became a Deputy Counsel at the North Carolina State Bar where he protects the public by prosecuting attorney misconduct and the unauthorized practice of law.  Prior to law school, Walthall earned his B.A. in Biblical Studies and English Education from Southeastern College at Wake Forest and taught Latin and English at a local secondary school while coaching the soccer team.  He currently teaches History, English and Writing at Wake Tech Community College and enjoys reading history and spending time outside with his wife, children, and pets in his free time.
