Applications accepted beginning September 1, 2010
We take seriously our responsibility for admitting qualified applicants. We believe that each applicant we accept has the potential to succeed in our program and pursue a legal education and professional career consistent with Campbell Law School’s vision and tradition of excellence.
The admissions committee bases its selection on the applicant’s academic credentials, including LSAT score, undergraduate grade point average (UGPA), level of writing skills, breadth of studies and on other criteria including, but not limited to, the work, life and leadership experience, depth of particular interest and any other aspect of an applicant’s background suggesting suitability for the study and practice of law.
The admissions committee evaluates every applicant’s entire file to assess:
- Potential for academic success and professional development
- Demonstrated achievement
- Motivation to pursue legal study
- Potential for leadership
- Community service
- Character and ethical values
Our outstanding student body is a vibrant mix of traditional and non-traditional students with varied backgrounds and interests.
