About Powers: A partner with the Law Offices of Bush & Powers, Powers’ primary practice area is DWI/DUI. He is a Board Certified Criminal Law Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is a general member of the National College of DUI Defense. Powers is a certified Instructor and Maintenance Technician of the Intoxilyzer 5000, CES Consulting Inc. and has taught a series of CLEs explaining the use and suppression of the AlcoSensor, the Intoxilyzer, and Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. He is also the co-chair of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers’ annual DWI conference.
