What is Family Day and the Law Day Awards Program?
Family Day and Law Day Awards Banquet| March 23, 2024
Family Day will be held at the law school the morning of Saturday, March 23. This includes a class for parents to experience the Socratic method, a mock trial demonstration, and a client counseling demonstration. Families will also be able to tour the law school. A light breakfast will be included. Registration is free.

The Law Day Awards Banquet includes an awards ceremony, dinner and silent auction held at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel. This banquet recognizes students, student organizations, professors and staff for their exceptional work over the past year. Those being recognized include 2023 Book Award winners, advocacy program participants, other academic achievements and student-voted award winners. Dinner is included. Tickets are $25 for students and $30 for guests.

- David Teddy Innovative Leadership Award
- Student Organization of the Year
- Professor of the Year
- Administrator of the Year
- Adjunct Professor of the Year
- 1L Professor of the Year
- LRW Professor of the Year

NOTE: Registration for both events closes at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, unless the banquet tickets sell out sooner. Students may register for one or both events.
