Bob Sar earned his J.D. from Campbell Law School in 1995 and his B.S from Wake Forest University in 1990.  He lives in Raleigh with his wife and two teenage children.
 
Mr. Sar is a shareholder and trial lawyer with the national labor law firm Ogletree Deakins.  Employers rely on him to advise their employment practices and defend their interest throughout the country. He has litigated hundreds of lawsuits and successfully obtained many jury verdicts and arbitration awards.  He co-leads the firm’s Ethics Compliance, Investigations and Whistleblower Response practice group, and leads internal investigations on behalf of management and corporate boards to respond to whistleblowers and government inquiries.  Early in his career, Mr. Sar worked in the White House West Wing as an assistant to the Chief of Staff.  
 
Mr. Sar is actively involved with several public and private boards, including current service on the Board of the Food Bank for Central and Eastern North Carolina, the North Carolina Bar Association Administration of Justice Committee and as Chairman of The Conference Table (a hospitality and visitor industry leadership group).
