American Bar Association – Law Student Division

The Environmental Law Society (ELS) is composed of students interested in conservation, agriculture, energy, infrastructure and property issues as it relates to environmental law. ELS hopes to promote awareness of environmental issues impacting the Raleigh area and around the globe. To encourage students to stay involved in environment law and parallel industries, ELS hosts discussions with public officials and private sector attorneys, and collaborates with the community to conduct brewery tours, stream cleanups, and much more. Visit the ELS webpage at this link.

The American Bar Association (ABA) is the largest voluntary professional association in the world. With nearly 400,000 members, the ABA provides law school accreditation, continuing legal education, information about the law, programs to assist lawyers and judges in their work, and initiatives to improve the legal system for the public. Membership in the Law Student Division exposes students to opportunities for professional development, educational career advice, national platform opinions, national conventions, the publication The Student Lawyer, and membership in specialty interest groups within the organization. The Campbell Law chapter of the ABA seeks to educate students on the benefits of ABA membership and promote various ABA events, including, but not limited to, National Pro Bono Celebration Week and Diversity Day.
