The purpose of the Professional Law Student Association (PLSA) is to promote professionalism of the highest caliber staring in the classrooms extending to the informal encounters students make in the hallways; also, to encourage leadership among students and best efforts in academic studies. This includes but is not limited to: Demonstrating adequate class preparation and establishing strong professional relationships with faculty and staff. Further, the PLSA will promote the importance of respectful communications with peers, healthy methods for coping with stress, and practical methods on establishing professional relationships with professors.
The top priorities of the PLSA are to demonstrate high caliber professionalism and leadership, promote student/professor relationships and establish a safe space for students to receive general guidance on excelling in the classroom.
